The Lilliput 659GL is the first monitor they have offered with a SAW or surface wave acoustic touch screen panel. The monitor features a 450 nit LCD panel with 500:1 contrast ratio, RCA, VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs. The 659GL comes in a dust proof, water proof, and explosion proof housing and has an IP 65 rating. Since the SAW touch panel uses different technology then resistive panels they are clearer, transmit more light, and last for up to 50 million touches.
