For many applications with limited space using a 7" monitor, at 107mm tall, just isn't an option, thats why we have developed the Mini Touch 695. 0.05" might not sound like much but it allowed us to trim 4mm off of the height of the monitor to make it 103mm in overall height. Not quite down to the 100mm true double din standard, but much closer then 107mm on the standard 7" model and in most applications can be fudged with a light sanding to your trim kit for a perfect fit.
The Mini Touch 695 has all of the other features you have come to expect in a monitor including VGA and dual RCA inputs, auto power on, auto switching for reverse cameras, a 400 nit LCD panel with 500:1 contrast ratio. Like its big brother the Mini Touch 700 the 695 has native 800 x 480 resolution support and an ultra clear 4 wire resistive touch panel. Some unexpected features include a wider operating temperature range (-20 to +65c) , a wider viewing angle then any Lilliput monitor, and price. Because we designed this monitor from the ground up using readily available hardware we have been able to smash the previous $200 price barrier without sacrificing quality.
Every Mini Touch 695 includes a VGA cable, USB cable for the touch, RCA/power inner connect cable, remote control, stylus, switching AC to DC power pack, car power adapter, and driver disk.

Fit well and easily. After some struggles, got the drivers and touch working. Direct sunlight vis is not good. Screen looks great though normally. However after a few years the touch just stopped working. Tried reinstalling drivers, etc etc. No touch.

This unit works as expected and I did not need a driver loaded for windows to see it in either my Win 7 or Win 8 install. This screen is not a good option if you want your PC to work as a touch screen. Windows recognizes this as a mouse and not a touch device which makes it impossible to use with Win 8 because you can not get the charms to come up without a mouse attached to your pc.

Have not tried to use it outside yet to see its sunlight readability but for the install I am using this in that shouldn't be an issue.

Well, my friend and I were programming a car OS and this touchscreen was the cheapest solution - turns out it was also one of the best. My friend easily interfaced it with his car's hardware, runs the OS seamlessly and provides the perfect pixel ratio and size. I intend to buy this when I have the money for my own projects. Definitely worth it for beginners to experts.
