Please note that the 5 wire version of the 669 will not fit into the Bybyte Double Frame. If you want a double DIN 669 you have to choose any of the 4 wire versions. The 4 wire high brightness model is the closest to the 5 wire model.
The new and improved Bybyte Double DIN frame is finally here. The frame allows you to convert a standalone LED backlight Lilliput 669GL into a double DIN monitor. The assembly process takes about 20 minutes and a link to detailed pictures and disassembly/reassembly instructions is below.
Included with the frame are the "H" bracket that holds the control board, IR eye with 6"/15cm of wiring, USB circuit board (Female A to Female mini B), and a screw kit for mounting the monitor. The frame measures 177 x 107 x 71mm W x H x D. Depending on your specific vehicle you may need to use a trim ring or dash kit from Metra or Scosche.
PLEASE NOTE: This frame has been specifically designed to work with the Lilliput 669GL 4 wire models only. If you are using the EBY701, 629GL, or 629GL-DVI you need to use the original version that has been specifically designed to work with those models.

The conversion process is reasonably simple and takes about 20 minutes.
*Please note that it does require that you desolder the IR eye from the button board to extend it with the included wiring.
** When you disassemble your monitor you will void the factory warranty. We strongly suggest that you fully test your monitor prior to disassembly. We are not responsible for any damage that you cause during the disassembly process.
***To use the factory HDMI cable that comes with the monitor you will need to use a right angle HDMI adapter like this.
