Description
The Black Box N is the first and only Double DIN Carputer enclosure for the DIY market. The case has been designed to work with all Nano and Pico ITX motherboards* as well as LED backlight EBY701-NP/C/T and GL629-70NP/C/T touch screen monitors. The double DIN form factor makes for easy installation** and the ability to mount 2 hard drives allows you to keep your OS on a small Solid State hard drive and content of a larger cheaper traditional notebook drive.
* Although the case will support all Nano and Pico ITX boards the recommended board is the VIA NX15000G.
** Even though the case has a Double DIN form factor a trim ring may be required. This will vary from vehicle to vehicle. Metra and Scoshe are the leading manufacturers of these kits. Normally they can be purchased, if required, for under $20.
